Cameron Lake Waterton Lakes National Park

So below are some of the pictures we took at Cameron Lake. We took a row boat out and found a little beach. Nali had a great time playing in the water. She loved it when Sam would pull her around. She also found it amusing when her bottoms got a little water logged in the process. Ella had her first drink out of Nalgene bottle sippy cup and spent the afternoon entertained by a Lays bag. Nali managed to find a rock that she thought looked like a crown. We had a great time up there.

Bertha Falls-Waterton Lakes National Park

After horseback riding we hiked to Bertha Falls. Bertha Falls is named after my great aunt Bertha Eklund. Nali walked all by herself. It's about 3.5 miles round trip. This was her second time to the falls and Ella's first!

Nali Horseback Riding in Waterton

This is Nali on her horse named Squid. She gave it the name Ginger as it's middle name because it looks like Ginger from Black Beauty.

We only saw a few bear droppings.

Sam's 30th Birthday!

For Sam's 30th Birthday we went golfing. We rented a cart and took Nali with us. We borrowed some clubs for her from a friend. We had a great time. Nali quickly lost interest when she noticed that there was a pond on the course. She told us "Those are bullrushes!" Sam and I looked and each other wondering where in the world she learned that...Probably from Stanley and the great big book of everything.

I had my best outing of the year. It's only the second time I've played a round this year but I improved by 9 strokes...I've been taking a few lessons and I guess that it's helped.

Oh yah, and I beat Sam on his birthday...good thing I got him private lessons for his birthday. I should mention though I had 2 re-do's that he willingly gave me. He wasn't made/upset that I beat him, more so impressed that I was doing well! What a guy eh!!

Nali took this picture of us.

BREAKFAST!!!

So I KNOW that I have the cutest girls in the world...I'm just trying to let everyone else know it!!
These pic's were breakfast this morning. Well other than this one.

Ella is starting solids...the joy of eternal clean up begins!

Nali is getting to be such a big girl!

What a face!

Flowers!

The flowers below are my back yard! They're beautiful to look at! So these flowers are called clamadisis...but I don't know how to spell them and everytime I try and google them I get the word Chlamydia...which obviously they are not...so 50 points to whoever can spell it right!

Nali's SOLO Hike!!

This is Nali after her first SOLO hike of Bear's Hump. It's a short but STEEP hike in Waterton! Usually she gets the Kelty but since Ella uses it she has to walk! She walked the WHOLE thing by herself. Some of you know how steep this hike is. She asked once for help I kind of distracted her!! She was GREAT! Nali and I were the first ones to the top! It was seriously one of the greatest things!!

Ella's first time up Bear's Hump! She loves the Kelty!! What a view eh!
My sister Heather and her "Man" friend.
Nali with my treking poles.
Sam and his little Ella. What a great picture!!! Coming down from the top. Notice the steps in the background. This shows how steep it is!

Sam's "OTHER" Baby!

So below is Sams "Other" baby. This is the hotel that he designed/engineered last summer. It was a huge learning experience but good for Sam. The great thing about his office is that they've thrown him in with both feet. It is his biggest project to date. Right now the windows are actually in and the roof is complete. We'll post pictures when it is all done.

I have to say he's pretty proud of this. As I think he should be.

THE Performance!

I know that these aren't the best pictures but they're something. Nali is the first little girl on the right. The did "Following the Leader" from Peter Pan.

She's got this adorable somewhat nervous/embarrased smile on her face in this picture.
She's the 4th little girl from the right in this picture. Notice her concentration in this picture. What a cutie.

So I was a little miffed that Nali didn't get the preschooler dancer of the year award....I'M I WRONG TO THINK THAT NALI IS THE BEST????? The definition is "To a promising pre-schooler who enjoys dance and is well disciplined." I think she falls a little short on the discipline part. Her teacher thinks she's very good but a free spirit...I think anyone who knows our little Nali would fully agree.
