Growing Up Sucks...

So I'm going through a little bit of a growing pain right now...I'm HATING that my baby is growing up. As you can see from the below pictures Nali is growing to be a beautiful little girl. She tells me all the time that she doesn't want to grow up and I reasure her that she'll always be my baby. In a few weeks she starts pre-school. She will be gone for 3 mornings a week. I'm DREADING this and have shed a few tears over the issue. There is a HUGE part of me that doesn't want to send her and thinks I'll just do Kindergarten next year with her. The problem with that is that I know that she needs to go. She needs the socialization and the structure. It's like getting your childs immunizations. You HATE doing it but you would never not do them. Nali is very excited about going to her school with Miss Pam the only problem is I'm just going to miss her. She is the light of my life...she is such a joy. We have great times together. Somedays she'll say to me "Mom lets go running!" So we'll go run around the block a few times. She loves listening to the killers, gwen stefani etc. She LOVES watching So You Think You Can Dance with me and ask almost everyday..."Is the dancing show on today?" She LOVES dancing. There's nothing like picking up your daughter from her year end show and having her run out and say "Did you see me??? Did you see me???" She LOVES Waterton probably as much as I do. When I was expecting Ella we were in the Dr's office for a check up and Nali said to me "We have to take the baby to Waterton!" What a girl. I love you Nali! Thanks for coming to our family!

Ella in a Swing!

My cute little Ella Bella in a swing! She enjoyed it!

Swings!

Last night I took the girls to the playground of the elementary school that I went to. I thought I'd try Ella out on the swing. She LOVED them. She also loved seeing her big sister beside her. I'm using a new camera so bear with me.

Our Family Holiday-Waterton Lakes National Park 2007

Below are numerous pictures of our family holiday we just returned from. We spent 4 days in Waterton. We had a great time. Waterton is just over an hour from where we live! It's an amazingly beautiful place!

Lost Horse Creek Waterton Lakes National Park

Lost Horse Creek is where Sam's family would go when they went to Waterton when he was a kid. It was my first time there. Nali LOVED it. The water was cool but refreshing considering how hot the weather was. Ella had a great time sitting in her bumbo enjoying the water.

Cameron Lake=Cameron Codd and Family!

So some of you older BYU 105th Ward Alumni will remember the Codd family! well at Cameron Lake we ran into them! We hadn't seen them in about 3 years! Cam, Beckie and family are in Lethbridge for the next month while Cam does some med school stuff!

Cameron Lake Waterton Lakes National Park

So below are some of the pictures we took at Cameron Lake. We took a row boat out and found a little beach. Nali had a great time playing in the water. She loved it when Sam would pull her around. She also found it amusing when her bottoms got a little water logged in the process. Ella had her first drink out of Nalgene bottle sippy cup and spent the afternoon entertained by a Lays bag. Nali managed to find a rock that she thought looked like a crown. We had a great time up there.

Bertha Falls-Waterton Lakes National Park

After horseback riding we hiked to Bertha Falls. Bertha Falls is named after my great aunt Bertha Eklund. Nali walked all by herself. It's about 3.5 miles round trip. This was her second time to the falls and Ella's first!
